From the start, the staff at Precision were polite and helpful. The woman who scheduled our appointment was polite and consise. Brett was great! He is very knowledgeable, thorough and respectful. He assessed the problem and gave me alternatives for fixing. He demonstrated the products afterwards and made sure to double check everything. I purchased a new garage door (16 x 7, 9100 Sonoma Ranch) and opener (Lift Master 8550 WLB) on 4/29/20. This review is not about that purchase but the service call I had this year to service a problem I was having with the opener, "Excessive Closing Force Detected, Error Code 4-1". I informed Precision of the problem and they sent a technician out on a Saturday. The technician adjusted the amount of travel down which had nothing to do with the problem, it was faulting as it tried to close. The technician stated I would no longer have the problem. I tried closing the door and it faulted again! I explained I disconnected the door from the opener and opened it half way and it pulled upwards hard, I thought the springs needed adjustment and that it was out of balance. The technician said no it is because I have an insulated door with windows. That seems ridiculous to tell me that after I spent more money for an insulted door with windows. At this time the technician took pictures and videos and stated no one was in the office and someone would get back to me regarding this issue. I never received a call! I called several weeks later and the office told me they would inform management and someone would definitely get back with me. I never got a call again! This is unacceptable to me.

Brent did a nice job fixing the door. He was polite, to the point, and fixed the springs in less than an hour. Only issue was cost of the repair but I haven’t had a door spring repaired in many years.

Brent texted and notified me he was on his way . He is very knowledgeable , professional and personable. Answered all my questions - very polite. He showed me what was broken with my garage door and what parts I would need to correct the problem . Brett was thorough and efficient. At first we decided against the 7 year warranty package but after some consideration we changed our minds. Brett had no problem making the changes even though he was half way through the install. Very quick install, would highly recommend!

I had precision garage door come out to service the door they installed in 2020 because there are some problems with the door closing opening properly and coming off the track. The service technician that came out I believe his name was Matt Did an incredible job. They honored the warranty after he called his supervisor to explain what the issue was the supervisor Eddy called me personally to let me know that would be taken care of not only did the technician balance fix and correct the issue he went ran me through a brief summary of what he repaired the garage door. If they hang onto This technician they were retain a lot of customers like myself really excellent service thank you.

They fixed the broken cable on the side, and tightened and lubricated everything while he was there. Garage door is fixed and it's quieter now.
