Since my garage door was installed in March of last year, I thought that my service call would have been covered under the warranty. The bracket which was installed then lost a bolt over the weekend. The weakness in the installation was unfortunately 2 months after the year warranty on the labor. How can you warrant the door for 10 years but not the bracket? Your man was courteous, efficient, and friendly. I had no problem with his work or professionalism. I hope the bracket stays up there this time.

I didn't think there was any way my garage door could be repaired and made operational in one day. Precision did a wonderful job on my damaged garage door; it works just fine and looks like nothing happened to it. I thought I'd need a new door and was looking at weeks before a new one would go up. Shawn Roderick did a class job, was very helpful and a real craftsman. I certainly give Shawn a 5+ Star Rating for his fine work. I"m surprised that no one in the office mention the veterans discount or the senior discount. I'm qualified in both cases and sure could use that benefit; is there any way I could still get a rebate? Thank you.

So happy with Precision Door. I have used them in the past for garage door service. This time it was just needing new remote. The receptionist was helpful and very friendly. I was able to get serviced within 24 hours. Of course the technician was courteous and top not professional. He was able to get to my house a little earlier which I was very happy about.

When it came time to have our garage door serviced, I was reading reviews of different companies, some seemed impressive, while other no so! Both my wife and I are on dis-ability and need to watch our pennies being on a limited income, so this was the reason for our choice to become a Precision Door customer and a family member! My wifes car was trapped inside of our garage due to having one of the torsion springs having given up the life as a working spring! We called Precision Door and they had someone coming out that day, a Sunday at not extra charge! I can think of no other company that does this! When Chris arrived, we have three rescue dogs that are part of our family, our fur kids. We told him that they are just doing their job of letting us know that there is a stranger in the house. He took the time to let our dogs smell him and to help get them from barking! He is a great employee as not many service people would do something like this! After a careful inspection, Chris told us that they no longer make this size torsion spring as most garage doors are now made of metal and ours is all wood which weighs close to 450 pounds! He did give us a name of a local company that makes custom springs, but he said that the cost of the spring would be pretty close to the cost of a replacement door and if one spring had let go the other wasn't far behind it in breaking also. The price he quoted was a fair price but living on a fixed income, we have no savings or credit card to put the payment of a new door on, so we thanked him, paid the service charge fee as it was fully disclosed from the operator who took our call. Since then, I have changed the type of spring system from a torsion spring to an extension spring having remembered how my parent garage doors operated. It isn't as pretty as the torsion spring setup, but it works for now! One more thing, Chris suggested where to lubricate the door once I was able to get the door to open and close, my door is so quite now, you can hardly hear it opening and closing, Thank you Chris! I do hope to eventually become a customer and a family member of Precision Door in the future!
