The service included replacing springs, rollers and the bottom weather stripping (which initiated the call). Precision was one of the companies recommended by Home Advisor. The service was scheduled the day following my call. The service technician, John Nair, was very professional and extremely knowledgeable with 18 years of experience. He offered several repair alternatives. The entire repair was completed in about 90 minutes and includes a 5 year parts and labor warranty. The door now operates smoothly and much more quietly. I'm am very pleased with the overall experience with Precision, although the quoted price was higher than anticipated.

Shawn did an excellent job in repairing my garage door. He arrive at the scheduled time, easily diagnosed the fix and did it. Additionally, he replaced the the seal on the bottom of the door. He was friendly, very courteous and extremely knowledgeable. I'm hoping I have no future problems but if I do, I'll call Precision first.

I was very impressed with the service I received from Precision Garage Door Service. My garage door spring broke on a Saturday afternoon; I reached out to Precision by their online service and an appointment was scheduled for the next day...on a Sunday! Chris arrived on time, explained the entire process and what needed to be done and the cost before he began. My garage doors now function better and are quieter than they did when first installed! I don't say this very often, but this company exceeded my expectations! Would recommend very highly!

I can’t say enough about this company! This is the second time I have used Precision and I have been nothing but pleased. The staff is so friendly-from tbe first call to the end of the job. There is no pressure and most of all they are honest, making recommendations, respectful of your decisions, explaining things and just so kind and friendly! I will review/listen to the call-in and see what was said. Our operators should have told you that "springs start at $199.99 and go up from there."Our techs have all types of springs on their trucks so they should have been available. Let me check and I will respond later. ....I see you declined the service to be completed. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do. (The call-in operator did properly alert to the spring cost but that can be confusing)

I actually chose Precision for my garage door issues because I backed through my garage door and needed help fast. John came out and took care of everything. Then, we bought new garage doors, so obviously I used Precision again. Jeff came out and installed them. He was professional, efficient and friendly. It was a wonderful experience!!!

Excellent all around. Good information on the phone before setting the appointment to look at garage door problem. Shawn, who then came over, was excellent in every possible way. Explained options, various pricing considerations, pros/cons, what he would recommend doing now, what could wait, etc. Ask for Shawn to help you! He was great. We would certainly look to use these guys again for any future garage door problem, upgrade, other needs, etc.

My repairman was John Nair - he was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. The spring broke on my door and I called in the evening and he was at my house the next morning about 7:45am. He assessed the problem and it was fixed within an hour. I like that I was given 3 options for the repair. I chose the most expensive option, but I feel confident my door is better quality now, than when I purchased my house 2 years ago. I also like that employees' photos are on your website so you know who to expect when they arrive at your house.

your description under "write a review" is confusing so I am just going to give a review for total experience. Positives: Joel professional approach. Seems well trained, presents himself well and seems and decent communications skills. Improvement areas: Perception is precision has "used car salesman" approach from my first contact on the phone the presentation of quotes on the tablet I never felt like I was a valued customer and the goal was to see how much could be milked from the customer. I think you can get your margin and still make the customer feel like they are getting value from the service. Call before you arrive as promised when appointment was made BTW... your web site says if a vendor only gives one year warranty on a spring the hardware is "cheap". I was told I had a one year warranty on the spring quoted. you may want to clean that up :)

When it came time to have our garage door serviced, I was reading reviews of different companies, some seemed impressive, while other no so! Both my wife and I are on dis-ability and need to watch our pennies being on a limited income, so this was the reason for our choice to become a Precision Door customer and a family member! My wifes car was trapped inside of our garage due to having one of the torsion springs having given up the life as a working spring! We called Precision Door and they had someone coming out that day, a Sunday at not extra charge! I can think of no other company that does this! When Chris arrived, we have three rescue dogs that are part of our family, our fur kids. We told him that they are just doing their job of letting us know that there is a stranger in the house. He took the time to let our dogs smell him and to help get them from barking! He is a great employee as not many service people would do something like this! After a careful inspection, Chris told us that they no longer make this size torsion spring as most garage doors are now made of metal and ours is all wood which weighs close to 450 pounds! He did give us a name of a local company that makes custom springs, but he said that the cost of the spring would be pretty close to the cost of a replacement door and if one spring had let go the other wasn't far behind it in breaking also. The price he quoted was a fair price but living on a fixed income, we have no savings or credit card to put the payment of a new door on, so we thanked him, paid the service charge fee as it was fully disclosed from the operator who took our call. Since then, I have changed the type of spring system from a torsion spring to an extension spring having remembered how my parent garage doors operated. It isn't as pretty as the torsion spring setup, but it works for now! One more thing, Chris suggested where to lubricate the door once I was able to get the door to open and close, my door is so quite now, you can hardly hear it opening and closing, Thank you Chris! I do hope to eventually become a customer and a family member of Precision Door in the future!
