Responded first thing in morning after late afternoon service call request. Keypad function was erratic - sometimes not working at all. Andrew replaced after troubleshooting. Noticed that the old springs were weak - not holding up door properly - and subject to breaking, with possible motor damage resulting. Replaced springs and bearings - job completed in under two hours. Andrew also explained how the door opener works and what to look for to maintain its function. He was thorough and friendly. We highly recommend Precision for garage door installation and service.

Five stars but for sure a caution on price. Technician showed up at my house within two hours of my call. Technician was very friendly, very knowledgeable, professionally dressed and in a professional business van. When previous homeowners had changed out garage door motors, they had simply spliced the wires to the safety lasers instead of rewiring -- so the fix was simply re-establishing the splices, just peeling back the wires and splicing them together again. This took about ten minutes. For this ten minute job that involved no parts or special tools, the charge was $188. I have to be honest that hurt a little bit.

My garage door opener is acting up. Doesn’t always open have to open and close a couple times before door will fully open. Total waste of time for your technician and a waste of my $89 that I had to pay for him to come out only to tell me oh we don’t service that brand of opener. So he said we’d have to sell you a new one because we can’t repair that one. So sell me and install a new one for $729 I don’t think so, total rip off. Maybe better business practice would be for Precision Door to ask customer what brand of opener they have to see if it’s one you service before sending someone to come out only to find out you don’t service it. Also give an estimate over the phone on prices of openers and install costs. Most customers can explain how big their garage door is for proper size. But your current way is great for you to collect $89.

Fast, excellent service. I called on Monday morning around 8am and you were able to send a technician out the same day to do a spring replacement, along with some other maintenance issues with our garage door. Looked on google for someone servicing Lake St Louis. Called before 7am & someone answered right away. I was able to get a 2 hr window appt same day. Technician came right at 10. Very personable and I am happy with job. He said my door was very close to breaking spring and trapping my car. That I knew so am so relieved to have it fixed. Thank you for peompt service.

I’ve used your company before that is why I called for service of a broken spring on a double wide glass garage door. Tried giving the part number for the spring to the scheduler. I was assured it wasn’t needed. Technician arrived very quickly from the original call. Technician Viewed the broken spring and called his office and was advised to tell me they wouldn’t handle. The technician acted very professional and I reassured him that I knew he was only the messenger. I was never quoted a price to replace the spring. I was then quoted 357 for a temporary clamp on the spring. I said NO THANKS AND CALLED OVERHEAD DOOR COMPANY!!
