on Nov 8, your firm came out and replaced my springs, one was broken. He showed me some things that needed attention and since I had just bought the house, I told him to do hos complete rebuild "deal". I paid $1,160 for all the repairs. Once he got finished, even with the new spring and all new hinges, etc, the door still jerked when opening. the technician said that is normal, which I disagreed with. over the next few weks, I tried all kinds of things to no avail. I called back and you all sent the same technician back again. He looked at all the moving points and then told me again , that's the way doors operate. In frustration, I called yesterday and asked for someone with more experience to come look. Joel Rife came out this morning and immediately identified the problem. The side and top seals were very sticky so he took them off, cleaned the surfaces then put new seals on and the door now seems to be operating properly. Thank you for sending the right guy out. Repairman was very good. This was a small repair where just one bolt needed to be reversed in the other direction so the door would open and close smoothly.
