Courteous staff beginning with phone call and ending with the technician completing the repair. I received a phone message about an hour before the scheduled appointment stating the tech was on his way. It included his name and picture. Prompt, knowledgeable tech explained our problems, made suggestions to prevent future problems with no pressure to proceed. Price quotes, options and expedient repair earned 5 stars. Problem with old door not opening. It was diagnosed immediately , and found that to repair our old 15 year unit was too much. Had technician install a new unit, that runs quite as a mouse . Fast service, technician showed up earlier than expected and was super nice to deal with.

After my initial garage door install on 6/19/20, I noticed not long afterward a popping sound with the rollers as the garage door was raised. I called to have the original technician back out but he was on another install and unable to return. However, a couple days later, I was dispatched a technician by the name of Chris Newman that was able to not only correct the 'popping' sound; he also identified another issue with my new garage door bracket being attached to a split-rotted piece of wood that could have created a major catastrophe further down the road had it not been corrected. Chris went the extra-mile of cutting and replacing the split wood with a 2x4 found in my garage. The replacement seemed to be much sturdier than what was previously there. Thank you, Chris for being observant and correcting both potential issues that could have caused additional problems had they not been discovered.

Called for a repair on garage door which was still working but saw a cable about ready to break. it was not an emergency but was informed weekend rates are no different than weekday so scheduled on Sunday morning. Tech called about 45 minutes prior to schedule time and asked if he could come about 15 minutes early. He was very professional and did all the social distancing, etc in this time of the upset world. He provided me a quote of what the repair would be and it was up to me to either agree or not have the service completed. He also inspected our other garage door to make sure there was no surprises there which there was not. In a short period of time the repair was done and he was on his way. Chris was our tech who was very good. I would recommend Precision Door to anyone.
