Request for service: Door will not stay in the up position when operator disconnected from door. This was a replacement spring when the new door was installed (it worked OK). The operator wasn't functioning at all when your technician arrived. Once the spring was tensioned, all the quirks went away. It was as if the operator was confused and lost it's way. I did mess with adjustment, but that was several months prior. I installed the operator in 2002. I'm currently 70 years old with a bum leg and not inclined to work on a ladder adjusting springs. I'm pleased with the quick fix your technician provided. *****

????Liars and cheats.....that what you get when you call Precision. They came out and destroyed my top section of my garage door. They said they would only fix it if I bought a $420 garage door opener from them. With all the added fees, they wanted $650 to change out my garage door opener. You can buy the exact same opener for $200 on Amazon and $225 at Home Depot. They are rip off scammers and should not be trusted. HORRIBLE SERVICE. They haven't heard the last of this situation. They still owe me a new garage door section.

Hello Mr. Hayes, I am sorry for your frustration. I will call you to figure this out with you. I believe there has been a miscommunication. We did damage you top section after the opener failed to stop and reverse after meeting with an obstruction. We did let you know that we will replace the top section for free but would not hook it up again to your opener because the same outcome would occur. We never said that you had to buy an opener from us or had to buy one form us to get the free panel. I think that's the biggest miscommunication. I do believe that if you checked out the differences (Parts and Warranty) between our openers and the ones sold at retailers you would understand the price difference. We would be happy to install any Opener you purchased outside and the new free panel at the same time. I know that Mike our office manager and Jim our GM have both reached out to you and you have talked to Jim. We have left a couple messages at your house. You had told them that you have two jobs and that you would not be able to answer the phone during the day and for us to leave a message. We will contact you again see how best we can help you and feel better about your experience with us. Thank you

Quick response (the next day). Joel was friendly and polite. No pushy up selling, just gave all the options. All repairs were done quickly and how to use the new equipment was well explained. Everything works perfectly(and there were multiple issues). Have used other garage door repair companies and Precision Garage was far and away the best service we’ve received. Would absolutely recommend!

Within 2hrs of contacting Precision Door about having someone to come to our house to evaluate our non-functioning garage door and the possibility of having a new garage door installed, Jason showed up on time. The receptionist I spoke to worked with me to give a appointment time that worked with my schedule and Jason was outstanding in accessing the problem and working with us to get the garage door open so my wife could get her car out plus he took the time to answer our questions and to offer his professional opinion when we asked. I was very happy with the service and professionalism of Joel and the folks at Precision. From making the appointment to the actual repair of the garage door, this was a smooth and easy process. Joel took the time to really diagnose the problem (the door raising and lowering was erratic) and discovered a short in the wiring that necessitated new wires and a new opener. He also checked the sensors and lubricated the tracks and springs, so the door is quieter and smoother now - even put a new light bulb in the motor unit for me. I thought the cost was very reasonable. I'm keeping this phone number!
