I have had the opportunity to experience the fantastic service that Precision provides on both of my houses. I have used Precision three other times in the last 20 years and have always been happy. This time I had my spring replaced. It was replaced 17 years ago and had a lifetime warranty. They replaced it charging only for labor. So, they stand behind their warranty. I also had the rollers replaced. Andrew arrived on time, and said the repairs would take 45 minutes. He was right. He wore a mask and asked if he could work in the garage without it. I said yes. He was friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely call them for any garage door repairs and hope they send Andrew.

We had them out to repair our garage door several weeks ago. They did a great job, however a few days ago our door stopped opening correctly. We scheduled another call and thankfully it was an easy 5 minute fix of a loose bolt. I was also pleased they waived the second service e call as a courtesy to us. I would definitely recommend them to someone looking for garage door repair or replacement.

I had one garage door spring to get fixed and the Technician came and said he wanted to install a two springs . Because he said it was company’s policy. That was ridiculous policy.
Hello Woldu and I am sorry you had a bad experience with us yesterday. I have Eddie, our GM, calling you today to see what we can do for you. Our spring policy was put into place for customer benefit and our tech's safety. After much analysis, we believe it is better and less expensive to replace both springs, much like brakes on your car, at the same time. Both springs have the same amount of cycles on them so it won't be long before the other brakes as well. So in an effort to save you the additional service fee when that second spring breaks its best to replace both during the first visit. Plus, we can not guarantee that one spring since it will be working harder and unevenly more than the other one. As for safety, many times when our techs unwind the unbroken spring to put the new one on, it breaks or POPS upon rewinding and that can be very dangerous. Eddie will call you to discuss further and I hope we can still help you with your door. Thanks
