This is the second time I have used Percision for my garage door needs. They have been on time, and came with the proper repair parts for my door repair needs. Repair men, in both situations, were clear what the repair required and able to clearly describe repair needed.

I purchased a new garage door (16 x 7, 9100 Sonoma Ranch) and opener (Lift Master 8550 WLB) on 4/29/20. This review is not about that purchase but the service call I had this year to service a problem I was having with the opener, "Excessive Closing Force Detected, Error Code 4-1". I informed Precision of the problem and they sent a technician out on a Saturday. The technician adjusted the amount of travel down which had nothing to do with the problem, it was faulting as it tried to close. The technician stated I would no longer have the problem. I tried closing the door and it faulted again! I explained I disconnected the door from the opener and opened it half way and it pulled upwards hard, I thought the springs needed adjustment and that it was out of balance. The technician said no it is because I have an insulated door with windows. That seems ridiculous to tell me that after I spent more money for an insulted door with windows. At this time the technician took pictures and videos and stated no one was in the office and someone would get back to me regarding this issue. I never received a call! I called several weeks later and the office told me they would inform management and someone would definitely get back with me. I never got a call again! This is unacceptable to me.

Was glad I called Precision for fixing my garage door. They responded to my request for service quickly. Will Mulholland, the service technician was on time, checked out the problem and gave me the cost right away. The problem was fix in no time. The cost of the repairs was quite reasonable. Will recommend your company to all my friends if they need help with their garage doors.

Rating based on our technician John...he's 6 stars & awesome...honest, thorough & polite! I did not know from my original call, about a labor charge in addition to the cost of unit & service charge...this was quite deceiving as I asked about total cost and labor charge was NOT mentioned. Though on the plus, they came out (& completed) job the same afternoon I called.

Outstanding customer service! The technician was very courteous and knowledgeable. He also gave me options after reviewing my garage door. I contacted them after a cable broke not allowing us to close the door. We contacted them and they had someone out in a couple hours. I told him about another issue we had with the door not wanting to close infrequently and he was able to fix that problem as well. He gave me some long term maintenance tips and advised me to not use LED lights in the opener. Nobody wants to pay for these repairs but this experience eased the pain.
