Prices too high! Shawn is a nice guy, seems to know his stuff, although I am a bit perplexed about the "LED bulb fries the motor" epidemic...several garage door pro's I check with know nothing about it. Maybe they are just not in the know. I guess I am a case in point to prove it. Again, 3 other sources I checked with on the work I still need done are all lower than Precision, and 2 were FAR lower, and for better equipment. So, I will never recommend your firm to anyone.
Hello Mike, I will call you so we can go over your experience and help us learn how we can improve. I will tell you that it is true that the new LED bulbs fry and disrupt the logic boards in the operators. I agree it is strange but true. The new operators now can accommodate the LED bulbs. As far as the pricing, we can discuss when we speak but it is surprising that the others had better equipment because we have the best in the industry..Our high cycle springs are 100,000 cycles where others are 25,000 cycles, our rollers are enclosed to prevent dust, crime and moisture that can weaken and cause friction and poor rolling, our cables are thicker and contain more strands to improve strength and longevity. This was our first experience with Precision and it was great! We called on a Sunday, had an appointment for the same afternoon, the technician was able to come earlier than expected, and everything was completed quickly. 3 hours from the time I called and we basically had a new door. 7/21/2018 Great Job! This was the first time we used Precision Door Service and was completely satisfied with the results. The garage door spring broke late Friday, and Adam came out a little before 10 AM on Saturday. Adam was on time, reviewed with me the safety concerns and my options and worked diligently removing the old garage door springs and putting in the new Hi Cycle springs and rollers. He made necessary checks on other concerns of the door, tightened and replaced bolts as necessary and was done before we knew it! I highly recommend Precision Door for Garage Door service of any kind. Adam was very pleasant, worked hard and smart and did a great job.

They inspected the damage and offered me multiple service options. They were very efficient and completed the job in less than 45 minutes.
